Electronic Visa Waivers
You can get an electronic visa waiver (‘EVW’) instead of a visa if you are a national of:
- Bahrain
- Kuwait
- Oman
- Saudi Arabia
- United Arab Emirates
The EVW application must be submitted within the time frame of 3 months to 48 hours prior to your planned arrival in the UK, and it incurs a fee of £30.00. Upon successful approval of your application, you will be granted permission to visa the UK for a maximum of 6 months.
If you plan on traveling back and forth to the UK several times, it might be a good idea to consider applying for a Standard Visitor Visa rather than using the EVW, as the latter can only be utilised for a single trip.
